“Doraemon comes to Hikari” – Bringing beloved characters closer to the community

With the aim of offering a diverse range of leisure and entertainment experiences for the community, Becamex Tokyu collaborated for the first time with the official licensor to bring a large collection of Doraemon figures to Binh Duong New City (Binh Duong Ward).

From 27/08 to 27/09/2026, Hikari welcomed 19 Doraemon figures, including a 3.5-meter-tall Doraemon balloon and 18 Doraemon figures in various adorable designs. Beyond creating colorful photo spots, Doraemon’s presence also offered children, families, and fans another place to enjoy their holidays and weekends together.

From Doraemon figures to a month of experiences

To make Doraemon’s presence more than just a photo opportunity, a variety of activities were held throughout the month for visitors.

Children and families could check in with all 19 Doraemon figures, participate in the Doraemon keychain-exchange activity, explore limited-edition Doraemon merchandise, and enjoy screenings of Doraemon the movie: New Nobita and the Castle of the Undersea Devil.

For Becamex Tokyu, bringing “Doraemon comes to Hikari” was more than simply organizing a one-month event. Behind the activity was a desire to offer diverse and ever-changing experiences that enrich the community’s leisure and cultural life through beloved characters and brands.
